This was going to be a long-lived manicure. No chips after 3 days as you can see in the pictures.

I got the Monthly Black Dahlia Lacquer order and wanted to play. As you can see, although Red Hot Sparks is described as a cherry red crelly from their July 4th duo, it’s more of a hot pink. I personally love it. I needed a nice hot pink.

Rain Daisy is a white crelly with a mix of dark yellow, magenta, periwinkle and teal hexes of varying sizes, with a smattering of aqua dots. I wanted a soft line since I was working with a crelly finish, and I like the effect. It’s very frosting-like. Two coats of each color with ORLY In a Snap quick-dry top coat. It’s not nearly as shiny as Julep’s top coat, I noticed, but it dries just as fast.

I didn’t try out Gray Anemone, a blue-grey crelly with violet to blue shiting glass flecks and silver, and green to aqua shifting micro glitter. I may next. Also included, a really big roller bottle of cuticle oil! Score!

These pictures were taken 3 days after doing my mani. Love it! However, I got the message that we had to do headshots and morning crew group shots Monday morning, so boo-hoo, I needed a very classic, conservative, and traditional mani look.

Okay, I was sad to take off the fun colors (really sad) but you can’t go far wrong with a classic Zoya red: Livingston.

I should give myself a manicure this week. Plus, I’ve been remiss in a few times daily cuticle oil. Oops. Get back on that, girl!

Much Love,

Gloria
