First, I went to the Cloisters yesterday, finally, and saw…The Last Unicorn (okay The Unicorn in Captivity, but you know!)
The Unicorn in Captivity
You can’t see the unicorn is bleeding in a few places when you usually see the photos of the tapestry, but I have to say, I’m glad there weren’t really any unicorns, because humans would have NOT BEEN NICE. All of the unicorns in the collection were being hunted, attacked by dogs, being speared, etc, etc. The museum is built out of parts and art from churches around the world and from different times. It felt like I was worshiping through Time and Space. Meanwhile:
I love my Birchboxes!
Here’s me trying Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner
I really love this month’s box. I can see me using everything, but maybe not the liner. I’ll try it again this week, but I found it very difficult to apply, for a gel. Lots of tugging on delicate eyelid skin, which gives you that droopy, saggy eye look NO ONE wants. Ladies, if you apply your eyeshadow with your finger every day, keep in mind how much you’re pulling at your skin.
Here’s a list of the products, plus a link to Birchbox if you’d like to try it out:
Atelier Cologne Pomélo Paradis Cologne Absolue
Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner
Jouer Daily Clarifying Treatment Oil
stila look at me liquid lipstick trio – in Beso
RUSK® Heatshift™ Re-Styling Cream
R+Co ATLANTIS Moisturizing Shampoo
The SunSki sunglasses I got as part of my Birchbox Choice for $20 aren’t up on the site, but I linked to the main company.
As usual, Birchbox gave me a great lineup of products to try out, and I think my must-haves are the cologne, the lipstick and maybe the liner, if I can make it work without trouble on Monday! I’ll let you know! I already have the sunglasses, and they are great! I went running in them, and not one slip. I went sightseeing around The Cloisters yesterday and they stayed put and looked stylish. Love them!
